Rachel Schell, M.A., L.P.C.
I received my degree in clinical counseling from George Fox University in Portland Oregon in 2009. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of professional experience helping children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples in finding hope and healing in their lives. I apply research, eveidence-based therapies to help people grow and change.
I have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is effective, evidence based therapy for a variety of disorders including; Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety, Body image, PTSD, Stress, Psychotic Disorder and other adjustment disorders. Additionally, I have my Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy certification. This helps adults, adolescents and children manage trauma symptoms, create a trauma narrative and learn new ways to cope.

I use emotional focused therapy during couples therapy as people develop their own identity and cultivate their relationship(s). I will assist couples to increase communication, identify negative communication cycles, and resolve past hurtful events so healing may occur.
Therapy provides a safe and open environment for adults, adolescents, and couples to work through problems and struggles in order to have a more fulfilling life. A strong therapeutic relationship will promote growth during challenging times. Each person can find hope and happiness so they can live to their fullest potential.
